How we work
From a good question to better evidence.
An engineering perspective grounded in the work: define the problem, model the system, inspect the result and identify what needs a physical test.
Start with a question that can be tested
A measurement or design objective establishes what needs investigation. In the photonic glucose chip-design example, ArtiSense provides the sensing objective and AIFIELD the engineering workflow.
Keep assumptions attached to the model
Geometry, material conditions, calibration and boundary information shape a simulation result. A model helps investigate the question within those conditions. Its value depends on preserving that context when presenting the result.
Inspect the output with human judgment
In our AI-assisted workflows the assistant proposes and a person reviews. The engineer running the work owns its assumptions and interpretation.
AI workflowsMatch the evidence to the claim
A concept describes a direction. A simulation investigates a model. A prototype enables hardware testing. Physical measurement must establish device behavior. The next experiment should address a specific uncertainty.
A connected example
One design. Two evidence questions.
How does the design workflow perform? Can the physical system achieve the sensing objective? Explore each in its own context.
